The roar of a saw, the whisper of a hand plane, the hum of a drill press. For some, it's noise. For us, it's the sound of ideas taking shape. Welcome to the engine room of The Crafters Hub.
The Hand Tools and Power Tools department can often be the most intimidating part of any workshop. It's where the big, serious work happens. But we believe it should also be the most exciting, empowering, and surprisingly fun place to be. We designed our space to be different, because our philosophy is different.
Here, tools aren't just about brute force. They are about precision, elegance, and understanding. They are extensions of your own creativity, and learning to use them safely and effectively is one of the most rewarding skills you can acquire.
Meet M.Fahmy: The Man Behind the Magic (and the Machines)
The unique energy of our tool department comes from one place: our co-founder, Mustafa. Many of you may already know him. He's well known in the community, known for his incredible connections, his sharp wit, and a warm, decent personality that makes everyone feel instantly at ease.

Mustafa isn't just the man who teaches our power tools and hand tools courses; he's the heart of our workshop's vibe. He literally built it—the benches you work on, the clever jigs that make complex cuts simple—they are all products of his mind and hands. He has a deep, intuitive cleverness with tools that is matched only by his passion for sharing that knowledge with others. He was the secret to the great atmosphere at our old workshop, and he's brought that same magic here, tenfold.
At The Crafters Hub: Power Tools for Everyone
Our courses are designed to demystify the machine. Under Mustafa's expert guidance, you'll learn that a table saw is a tool for precision, not fear. You'll discover how to make a router sing, and how to use a drill press to create perfectly aligned holes every single time. Safety is our first priority, but a very close second is the sheer joy of learning what these incredible machines can do.
The Quiet Art of Hand Tools
But it's not all about power. We believe a true woodworker understands the quiet language of hand tools. There is a unique satisfaction in using a perfectly sharpened hand plane to create a surface smoother than any sander could manage, or cutting a joint by hand that fits like a glove. These are the skills that connect you to a thousand years of craftsmanship, and Mustafa is a patient and passionate teacher of this quiet art.
Whether you're looking to build a piece of fine furniture or just want to become more confident and capable in your own DIY projects, this is where your journey begins. It's a place of learning, laughter, and sawdust.
Ready to feel the power and precision for yourself?
