Kumiko Course

This course is a collaboration with Wael Muhammad, an experienced
woodworker with a passion for culture and arts, including Japanese
woodworking art. Kumiko is a traditional Japanese woodworking technique
that involves the intricate cutting and assembly of small wooden pieces to
create beautiful geometric patterns without the use of nails or glue! These
patterns can be incorporated into different pieces to elevate their design.
Traditionally they are incorporated into doors and screens in Japan. In this
course you will learn and create a traditional Kumiko pattern and take it home
with you!
